Reaching gender equality is a team challenge: we need to exchange experiences, to develop new strategies, to discuss. With DISCOVER FOOTBALL we place our perspective and our knowledge as an independent NGO in different working groups, alliances, partnerships and in worldwide conferences. With the help of our alliances & partners we are expanding the network of women active in football around the globe!
DISCOVER FOOTBALL joined the 62nd session of the Commission on the Status of Women which took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 12 to 23 March 2018. We are proud to be selected for the official German delegation.

DISCOVER FOOTBALL has been part of the CEDAW-Alliance since 2016. The Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) is the body of independent experts that monitors implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. DISCOVER FOOTBALL wrote in cooperation with 38 other member organization the CEDAW-report for the German government fighting against discrimination of women.
DISCOVER FOOTBALL is an active member in the working group for women’s and girls‘ sport in the District Berlin Kreuzberg/Friedrichshain.
