The youth leaders

In our project, ten young refugee women are trained as coaches and youth leaders. After completing the program, they are certified youth leaders and can work as coaches for various sports or as youth leaders in leisure programs.

Rahela
Rahela

My name is Rahela, and sports are a vital part of my life. Without them, I wouldn’t feel healthy. 🏃‍♀️ When I’m not active, I feel tired and drained. My passion for sports drives me to teach every activity I know to others, sharing my skills to serve my community.

Exercise is not only good for our health but also boosts our confidence, keeping us happy and joyful. 😊 When I discovered my talent for coaching, I embraced it wholeheartedly. Teaching others allows me to learn and grow in so many ways.

In Afghanistan, I spent about three years as part of a cycling team 🚴‍♀️ and practiced Taekwondo. 🥋 I also spent a year rock climbing. 🧗‍♀️

Through sports, I’ve found strength, happiness, and a way to connect with and uplift others. Let’s inspire each other to stay active and pursue our passions. 💪❤️

Parya

My name is Parya Hussaini, and I’m from Afghanistan. 🇦🇫

Football is more than a sport to me; it’s a lifeline. ⚽️ It keeps me active and allows me to connect with others who share the same passion. But as a girl in my country, I never had the chance to play.

Growing up, I faced barriers that tried to keep me from the field. 🚫 These challenges fueled my determination to change the future. 🔥 I dream of becoming a coach, to inspire and encourage children, especially girls, to embrace sports and football. 🌟

I want to give them the opportunities I never had, to show them that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. 💪 Together, we can build a world where every child can follow their dreams and find joy in the game. 🌍❤️

Zahra

My name is Zahra, and I come from Afghanistan. 🇦🇫

To tell you the truth, the reason I do sports is mostly for personal enjoyment, physical health, and mental well-being. One of my favorite sports is volleyball, which I had to stop many years ago because of the racist laws in the country where I grew up. 🏐

I was born and raised in Iran 🇮🇷, but with an Afghan passport. Having an Afghan passport in Iran means having almost no rights. Even though women in Iran can participate in sports, those with Afghan passports are not allowed. These discriminatory laws made it impossible for me to continue playing volleyball.

By becoming a coach, I want to contribute to creating an environment where women athletes are supported, respected, and given equal opportunities to thrive. This is so important to me because no one should be denied their passion and dreams due to their nationality or gender. 🌟👩‍🎓

I hope to inspire other women to break barriers and fight for their rights, on and off the field. Let’s work together to build a world where everyone can pursue their passions freely and equally. 🌍❤️

Thank you for listening to my story. Let’s continue to support and uplift each other. 🙏

Milo

I’m 24, I am from Iraq and I love Sport because it saved my life and also learned from sport how to fight for my life and my goals and my future. I want to become a coach because I love working with kids somehow It gives me peace for my inner child who did not live her childhood, so I always love to be with children and play with them.
I’m in Germany for 8 months now, and I come here because it’s a risk to stay in my country, as  a woman, an activist for women’s and children’s rights, and a lesbian. I have suffered from a lot of problems and threats from the government, the militias, and my family, and my timely departure from Iraq saved my life. I am striving here to build a new, better life and a safe future, and also give a lot of my time. To volunteer and work with children and sports and everything Forbidden for me in my country just being a human

Marjan

Hallo zusammen!
